REGISTRATION
All participants, including authors presenting their papers
at the Symposium should complete and submit a registration form (with
payment of registration fee). If the presenting author of a paper is not
registered by 15th August, 2005, the paper will not be published in the
proceedings and the presentation will not be included in the final program
of the Symposium.
JLS members and participants living in Japan have to register with Dr.
Osamu Nagai, Japan Landslide Society 5-30-7, Shinbashi, Minato-ku, Tokyo,
Japan 105-0004

registration fee includes the conference documents and proceedings,
access to the opening programme, technical sessions, refreshments,
working lunches, and symposium banquet.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
No registration will be
confirmed until payment is received.
JLS members and participants living in Japan have to remit the
registration fees to the Saving Account No. 4 2 1 4 0 2 5 of Japan
Landslide Society (Nihon Jisuberi Gakkai) at Tokyo-Mitsubishi Bank,
Shinbashi branch Number of Account. The excursion fee(s) should be
deposited in the name of Mr. Jun Umemura, Member of the Organizing
Committee to the current account No. 01-0230553-051 of Standard
Chartered Bank Nepal Limited, Kantipath, Kathmandu, Nepal.
Indians and Nepalese participants paying in Indian or Nepalese Rupees
may pay the registration and excursion fees by bank draft drawn in the
name of Nepal Landslide Society, to the Current Account No. 0 5 4 5 0 4
of Agricultural Development Bank, Chabahil Branch, Kathmandu, Nepal.
The other participants may pay the registration and excursion fees by
bank draft drawn in the name of Mr. Jun Umemura, Member of the
Organizing Committee to the current account No. 01-0230553-051 of
Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited, Kantipath, Kathmandu, Nepal.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Cancellations of
registrations and excursions should be notified in writing. 65% of the
registration fee will be refunded if a written request is made by 21st
of September 2005. In case of cancellations of excursion, a 100% refund
will be given, less US $ 20 administrative charge. Refund will be made
after the end of the Symposium.
